Who We Are
Hope for Wondering Amish came out of a group of brothers who had a burden to help those who are leaving or have left the Amish community.
Why This Matters
After leaving the moorings of their past, many end up embracing theological errors. We want to help guide people past confusion and back to the faith handed down by the Apostles and lived out by the church for the first centuries.
What We Recognize
While we acknowledge that many Amish communities lack a vital Christian experience, we also recognize there are many good values within their way of life. Our desire is to help those who leave wisely discern what is worth keeping and what needs to be laid aside to walk faithfully with Christ in the Historic Faith.
Our Mission
Our desire is to provide sound biblical teaching and genuine fellowship for those transitioning out of Amish culture, encouraging obedience to Jesus and understanding the Scriptures as He taught and lived.
Our Vision
We aim to build up disciples who earnestly follow Jesus, practice what He commanded, and unite around the faith that was once delivered unto the saints — not modern traditions or doctrines invented later.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
— Jude 1:3
